God made each of us uniquely special and we are created in His very own image. We may have similar body features, however there is no one perfectly identical to anyone else. God made each one of us for a unique plan and purpose and He loves us far more than anyone else ever could. We can live secure in His love knowing that no matter what we look like, we are precious and special to Him. “I’m a special kid, ‘cause Jesus loves me so”.

Genesis 1 v 27 (NIV) So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Psalm 139 v 13-16 (NIV) For You Created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Ephesians 2 v 10 (NIV) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

I have treasured memories singing this song with my precious children who are now grown up.
