Throughout my life, as it is for all of us, there are times of challenge and struggle as well as wonderful times of great celebration. Through knowing God and having a personal relationship with Him, whatever the circumstance we can receive from Him a deep sense of peace and joy. Through all things God has been my constant, my rock, my safe place, my sure foundation and when I feel weak it is He who gives me the strength to go on. His promises even in the toughest of times have brought me great joy and reassurance. He has revealed Himself to me through His word (The Bible), through other people, through creation and as I worship Him. When I praise and worship the Lord and keep my eyes on Him, nothing else matters anymore as I am reminded who I belong to and who I am loved by. I can always trust in God who sees what I cannot see and knows the plans He has for me. The joy of the Lord is my strength and I will sing!

Isaiah 33 v 6 (NIV) “He will be the sure foundation of your times, a rich store of Salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.”
