To be forgiven and set free, what an incredible gift. God gave his only son, Jesus who died on the cross and took the penalty for our sin so that we could be forgiven and saved. The comprehension of the reality that “I’m forgiven” hits my heart so deeply. Jesus took everything upon himself so that my sins could be washed away, his body broken and his blood shed, he took it all. I’ve been changed forever because of his sacrifice. Thank you, Jesus, I’m forgiven.

 1 John 1 v 9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

 Ephesians 1 v 7 (NIV) In him we have forgiveness through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

 1 Peter 2 v 24 (NIV) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
