God is our champion. He has conquered sin and death, He has won the battle. There is nothing or no one greater than God, He is the champion of all champions, the most high God. He is a strong and powerful God yet He is also compassionate, He offers us forgiveness, incredible love and eternal life through Jesus. When things come at us in life we can trust in our loving God because He has defeated the enemy. God is our victor, God is our champion!

 Isaiah 42 v 13 (NIV) “The Lord will march out like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies.”

 Psalms 118 v 7-9 (MSG) “God is my strong champion; I flick off my enemies like flies. Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people; Far better to take refuge in God than trust in celebrities”

 Romans 6 v 23 (ESV) “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”
