Receiving Jesus into my life has meant I received an incredible gift of the Holy Spirit living within me. I can face each day knowing whatever comes, I have a super power with me and that in my weakness He is my strength. Through the challenges that life brings I can trust God will always be with me and that he will help me through and help me to overcome anything I may face. I can stand because He has triumphantly defeated the enemy and won the victory over death itself through the death and resurrection of His son Jesus. This is an amazing truth! God you are my super power ‘cause your spirit lives in me!

Ephesians 1 v 18-22 (NIV) “I pray that the eyes of your heart be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is evoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come”.

John 16 v 33 (NIV) “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
